Today’s a killer..
After a mere four hours of Prof Morrison’s class and a presentation in the evening, I am half dead. Blame it on lack of sleep the night before. After the class, I went to library trying (emphasis added) to do a summary on Judicial Precedent. Fifteen minutes on, I felt the great urge to throw myself under the table and just sleep. That bad, huh..
Well, I guess one cup of coffee does not work anymore for me. I may have to increase my dosage (gee..I sound like an addict). Yes.. yess.. I am addicted to coffee.. Hmm.. wonder if they have Coffee Anonymus?
Anyway, in the evening, me and three fellow Rotaracters: Chris, Giri and Bernice went on a “special mission”; promoting Rotaract to a Rotary Club that has not charter a Rotaract Club. Our target: The Rotary Club of Damansara West. Due to intense revision and other matters, we left it till the eleventh hour to prepare for the presentation. It helps of course that we are well verse in our materials. But I would not hide the fact that we were quite nervous prior to the presentation as we have never done anything like that in front of a group of Rotarians.
However, our apprehension proved to be unfounded as the Rotarians warmed up to us. We have got good feedbacks from them. They are a friendly bunch, and we really hope to attend their meetings in the future.
Now that we are done with the the presentation, our activity term has truly truly come to an end. All in all, for a new club, we have made considerable progress. We have achieved our Presidential Citation (hopefully the DG will endorse it) and DRR Citation.
Well, now back to full study mode. I’ve been slacking for the last couple of days. The past one month has been streneous, yet enlightening. I finally get to put all the things I have learnt from the past one year into context. Now, the hard part is remembering ALL the facts.
Anyone has any idea how to do that?
